hi all, here are some of the treasures i have been fortunate to drive over the years..
here is a '75 microbus i had around 1999 - 2000, it had a 2l and a factory slider sunroof it was a cool bus!
funny thing is i brought this gem at an auction and couldn't beleive my luck! :thumb
it was all sad looking so i took it home..
fixed it up and it purred like a puddy tat

n here is a pic of its cute rear at dubs by the pub 2000, it took out
best original kombi - bay window for the day!
happy happy joy joy!
nice bay so do you still have it
you know how it is...
DOH! i wished i kept that one but not any more.. :cry
just pics and fun memories driving around byron with kombibob hanging out of the sunroof in front of the coppers...
but thats another story
'h' where's pics of the 54?
Did you see my post with the bonnet? Does yours look like that?
T54
hey T54,
my 54 is on the members rides somewhere?
hi ..
here is another ride i had..
the white twinny, a '71 with a 1776 and lsd box in it..
after a teething mech probs it went not too bad but sadly i have it no more :o
this pic was taken a few years back at the beginning of dubs by the pub run when it first met at the ent. center.. any ideas on what year that was?
my twinny in front, kombi bob in the center and wills bus at da end..
it was a good cruise that one..
heres a anothery i had in 2002..
a '78, 2.0 litre that was used as a delivery hack till i rescued it and gave it a bit of tlc...
and from da rear..
hi again
had some time now wif uni over for a bit to do some scanning etc to add to this thread..
here is some of that '71 twinny that is above in the line up
sorry about the qual but its from a scan image thingo
sweet rear..
here is my first camper n first bay..
its a '75 that i spent a bit of time making sweet to keep, had this for about 3 years..
this shot was taken on straddie on the sand track to flinders beach, this beach is a beautiful place to sit n watch the world go by..

I reckon straddie has the best beach in the world. there's just nobody there it is so peaceful!
nice buses paul, shame you don't have any of them now. is that the same dog? :thumb
cheers lams
hopefully soon i will have another bay to play with, until then another VW is definately on the cards.. just have keep looking..
btw it is the same rotti, thats banana.. bit of a poser isn't he
he prefers the kombis for a ride as the oval is a wee bit squishy.. lol
Nice Bay's you've owned
hmmm... I just checked out some of my old busses on this thread
n now that I'm nobus (apart from T5 daily) I may have to fill the hole in the shed that my recently sold bay panel has left behind..
It's funny that my 54 and beach buggy just don't give me the vibe cruising about in a T2 does
guess I'll just have to start saving pennies n get anothery in the future
''It's funny that my 54 and beach buggy just don't give me the vibe cruising about in a T2 does'' ????
Paul thats because a beach buggy is supposed to be driven on the beach ! You live on the door step of Noosa north shore. What is going on mate, get
into it before the day comes when we may not be able go for run up DI.
^ warmer DRIER weather a acoming and so will DI runs mate
just gotta get mattys all show n no go to start first time every time
at least my beach bugga with its sloppy clagged out 1600 made it out n back even in reverse
funny day that one..
bring on more of em
but still not the same a cruising in a bus mate..
