Wheel options need some feedback.

Kind AVD folk, I am currently deciding on wheels for our '68 auto 1500 Beetle. To help me decide could people please post some pics they may have of bugs with 2.0l 914 porsche wheels. I am also considering the turbo twists for sale on AVD too so have been checking out Dasdubbers thread. Torn between old school look and German look. Also also torn between realtive ease of fitting 914 wheels, as opposed to the mods that may be required to accomodate the twists.

Yep, the white beetle has confirmed it for me. I have seen that photo before and it looks the goods. Add to that the ease with which they fit and its hard to beat. I am considering the rims on ebay, made by American eagle. Are there other companies doing repros of this wheel or is American Eagle it ? Anyone seen a set of them to comment on quality ?
