hard times
t2 - April 2nd, 2005 at 10:18 PM

i have been starting to get alittle frustrated with the bus resto it just seems to go nowhere for long periods of time although i am working on it consantly i guess its only the start of the 3rd year, so today i played alittle with something that had a finished product , well almost as i am missing 2 screws out of the indicator thingo.
so today i put in the under dash tray indicator stalk and that plate that you always smack your knees on and also the steering wheels is fitted properly once more so here is a pic or 2 for anyone interested
thanks darren

I could not find it anywhere.....

ours at shows...in paint shops...things came close...but ur is exactly it...

BTW, can u guess i love the color of ur dash???

And totaly understand frustration at feeling like ur project wll never get there...but hold true, it will...and it will be well worth the effort...

just look at how nice the dash looks in ur pics...

very nice...very very very nice t2

Darren

Looking good
Whats the switch for next to the light switch.
Also have you got the rubber buffer to stop you knocking your knee.

Cheers
Dave

dave that switch is actually for the nos , it really gets up and goes when you push it , but if things get out of controll it doubles for the ejector seat then if the ejector seat fails it works as a horn, someone previously fitted it in there and my steering wheel horn buttons grub screw is rusted in there solid so i just left it that way.

hey warb do you have a neighbour called simon that works for csr fibre cement in wetherill park?

after fitting all the dash in i took it for a quick spin around the block to try to motivate myself to get it on the road and the thing ran like crap , and to top it off my front drivers door comes open around corners , i think it needs a new striker plate
cheers darren
my chin is up again

As my 2 and a half year old daughter keeps saying,"dont worry be happy"

It will get better, not long and you will have everything sorted.
At times I thought mine would never get finished and got really pissed off when things didnt go to plan, but keep at it.
Its all worth it in the end.

Cheers
Dave
