had a run around time at easter but managed a day in the buggy on the beach.
early morning showers to dampen top mm of sand. day got up to mid-high 20s. warm enough for a skinny dip.:repuke
buggy was the only 2wd on and off the beach. also easily the oldest vehicle out there (prob by 20 years). would have the title for the smallest and
lightest licenced 4 wheeler too.
spent mosyt of the day following 4wheel motorbike traks behing beach and up into dunes. got stuck once up a dead end blowout. easily out, reverse
down slope a bit, get out and drag front around and fang again...
too busy driving to take too many photos sorry. seemd to be a expensive weekent for some 4wd owners. haha
also picked up a safari snorkel that had bee ripped off a 4wd by the vegetation. haha...
old ugly buggy got me there and back all for the cost of 10km/l premium and a bit of oil leaked out the pushrods and oil flinger. thanks to it.
also yesterday, knocked off early and went for quick beach fang...
got yelled at by a 80 series owner complaing he paid $35000 to get bogged on the beach. i tried to yell back that i couldnt stop or it'd be bogged
too but only for $1800.
laughed all the way home and actuatlly enjoyed work today...
