Nice rides

pod - April 19th, 2005 at 06:39 PM

anybody know how the heater controls are supposed to work

Bizarre - April 19th, 2005 at 07:56 PM

they dont

more than likely they buckled the cables.

If ya pull the radio you will see what i mean.

I jus connect and disconnect the heater tubes:D

I have they work shop manual if you need any help.

an ebay special for $20.00

is yours an auto or manual???

I have a few spares if ya need things.

pod - April 19th, 2005 at 08:35 PM

its a manual, with air but it dont work either, well the fan does out the middle vent , had wires start to smoke on me this arvo from the switch next to the heater control but will just have to replace them and the switch ,not good as was the first time the missus had been in the car and get round the corner and that happened, and no fire extinguisher (have now) pulled some burnt looking wire off the fuse box, and it stopped smoking so time to iron out the little bugs:blush:blush

ColumBUS - August 19th, 2006 at 04:39 PM

very nice pod! when they settle it'll look even sweeter. that sits really nice, a good modest stance.

kombi kountry - August 22nd, 2006 at 10:14 AM

Are they the springs that were a factory option on caravelles in Europe? I heard that they were 30mm.

Also, how does it handle with the different wheel/tyre combo? What weel/tyre specs are they?

Thanks

Schmoburger - August 23rd, 2006 at 12:32 AM

Said it before and I'll say it again mate...Freddy looks like a million bucks! :bounce

Fossil - August 23rd, 2006 at 04:55 PM

I fitted factory lowered springs on my 90 Caravelle when I had it and they were only 30mm also - settled a little but not much more - still provide a nice ride

kombi kountry - August 23rd, 2006 at 07:20 PM

based on that aftershot photo i think a pair of 45mm springs that seem to be available from a few suppliers will be adequate (in terms of drop in ride height/looks) for my caravelle.

pod - August 23rd, 2006 at 07:33 PM

will have to cut 1 or 2 ribs out of the bumpstops on the front ,they are 14" merc rims off a 200se i think as i bought them up the local flea market:tu:
