Has anyone ever put air-conditioning in their Kombi? If so how successful was it and what was the cost involved?

LAVENDAR. It is actually Lavender. That is the colour she chose from the paint shop book. She Loves it. BUt boy do I get embarressed driving it. Some of the stares I get... Wish I did have the dark tint.
But I think I should go with the flow, instead of trying to hide , I'll wear Loud coloured clothing and wave with a certain smile and wink to those guys......Thinks .. Dark Glasses a must.
