Hey ryan,

I think you still have a bumper I was supposed to pick up from you many moons ago but never got there!

anyway - I have a bullbar and rear bar if you're keen (theyre in south eastern suburbs)

cheers
megan

I have waited 3 years for these pics..

SWEET;)

ps: any engine pics?

dodge - May 3rd, 2005 at 09:41 AM

what is it that you have stuck to the walls, ryan? they look like old newspapers or something....
and how did you do the checkered floor? that is AWESOME :)

helbus - May 3rd, 2005 at 09:44 AM

Hi Ryan, I have got some spotties you can have for nicks if you want them. They are cheap plastic ones, but they were ok on our bus for a couple of years. We got Harley D ones now, so give us a tingle if you want them.

helbus - May 3rd, 2005 at 09:45 AM

When I say cheap plastic, the lens is glass.....

mnsKmobi - May 3rd, 2005 at 10:29 AM

Where'd that poptop come from? Mine is like most I have seen - fibreglass and sticking out too high!

winerot - May 3rd, 2005 at 11:05 AM

roof racks on the pop top looks cool smart idea & street map as wallpaper you have to jump in back to see where your going:thumb
is that air vents under sliding door handle or trick pic

KruizinKombi - May 3rd, 2005 at 02:09 PM

Well done Ryan! It's been a long road eh?

baybuscamperkid - May 3rd, 2005 at 04:31 PM

thanks all, yes it has been a while. will try and find an engine pic, helbus, might take u up on that offer, i have a set to fit but one has a lense that is wrecked. yep winerot, ther is an airvent in the sliding door, one of the many mods that was there when i got the car. many more vents on the other side.

baybuscamperkid - May 3rd, 2005 at 04:33 PM

closest thing i have to an engine shot for the moment. there are 2 thermo fans hidden behind the rad.

baybuscamperkid - May 3rd, 2005 at 04:35 PM

mns kmobi the roof is an early trakka model, a bit lower profile the the sopru ones, and has a nice solid steel frame built in to retain teh roof's strength

baybuscamperkid - May 10th, 2005 at 04:18 PM

YAY! IM REGISTERED! just drove into burwood and back, car ran like a dream. not exactly quiet at speed (wind buffering off poptop) but no engine or heating problems, seemed to sit at a constant temp, no water leaks anywhere or unpleasant noises. :thumb :thumb :thumb
might need a couple of :beer tonight to celebrate

Stealth - May 10th, 2005 at 09:43 PM

pete wood - May 11th, 2005 at 04:02 PM

Congrats BBCK.

Nice to get it regoed finally isn't it. Enjoy.

Now the real fun begins...that is...gettting every thing to work as best as pos. How well does it cool on the freeway?

baybuscamperkid - May 15th, 2005 at 08:56 PM

been on the road for almost a week now, wow what a rollercoaster. i am losing ALOT of water, and a little bit of oil, still not sure how but am working on it, but the car has been cruising better then i could have imagined, headed to frankston yesterday, got to boronia and a drive shaft fell off! fixed it on the spot (thanks to the guys at the VW shop for the cheap bolts), was simply not put on quite right in the first place and had worked its way loose, made it to frankston and back cruising comfortably at upto 95, no overheating, but seemed to boil going to templestow and back today after replacing the thermostat (which was absent), am getting rediculously good fuel economy (averaging 10l/100km!), shock bolt on passenger side tried to work itself loose today, and filled the cabin with smoke when turned the headlights on, but turned out just to be a short from one of my accessory guages.
