Hey car looks sweet as man! can i ask what colour that green is called? mum loves the colour!
alex
Don't the wheels make a huge difference. Great paint and oh so straight. Very nice. Congrats
Colour is a custom mix. Saw it on a bus in Volksworld and took the magizine into the paint shop and said mix this. It is mainly yellow with a touch of green. The trick with colours like this is to build up a solid white and then spray the colour on over it to get the intensity...:thumb
bugger greenbus the wife & i have been looking at
colours for our 64 split & this morning we decided
on a colour guess what colour oh well back to the
colour chart, the one in volksworld influenced us too

Hey Greenbus,
Is the bus lowered / IRS'd etc?
Just curious what tyres you have on the EMPI 5 spokes? I have a set of chromed EMPI 5's and you got me thinking about putting them on my splitty!
Cheers
Steve

Where's the shoes? lol
Hey guys,
Thanks for the great feedback, I'm happy with the way the bus has turned out. It has been a budget rebuild beleive it or not, I've built it to just
to be a weekend cruiser with the once a year trip to Sydney.
It's definitly not the quickest bus in town - but I've come to like it that way, as when you hop in the bus the hecktic pace of life goes out the
window with your speedo needle, and you take a deep breathe and cruise. Leave the rushing around town for the work van.
Although in saying that I have a set a kadrons to go on the otherwise stock engine, but they'll go on when they go on.
Front end is a ball joint unit with adjusters - fine on Canberra's roads but doesn't like the big bumps. Rear end is just lowered one outer spline,
which seems to work fine for the moment, no probs to speak of.
Tyres on the front are 175/55/15 and the rears are 185/65/15. Keeps the front tyres within the guards and gives a tough stance.
Interior is modelled off a Westy ( every panel was traced off originals and re-made), has the Westy R & R bed, carbon fibre look laminated bench
tops, White re-trimmed seats and Elvis riding the dash. I'll grab some shots of the interior over the weekend.
This was really a practice bus for me. I didn't want to spend all my money on it. I've got a few projects happening so I have to share the
love.....
Just on that.. Hows the bus coming along? Progress?
Nice bus, great budget rebuild...

That sure is a sweet looking ride - drool
