My 72 Kombi Twin Cab
72TWINCAB - February 25th, 2003 at 11:42 AM

Hi my name is Bill and this is my beast. This is my first VW, I've owned it for about 2 1/2 years now. It's got a 2 litre with twin Delorto carbies and extracters. I also have a canopy, but only put it on when I go away as it doesn't fit under the house with it on.

Hey, Nice twin cab, reeeal neat. I'd love a bay dual cab. I reckon that it would fit under the house with the canopy on it if u slammed it to the ground... ;)

pyr0 - June 6th, 2003 at 09:39 AM

love the front kicker pannels did u make them ur self ?? they look sweet

72TWINCAB - July 15th, 2003 at 10:45 AM

Thanks Pyro.

I agree, the kicker boards do look sweet. They are made from the same carpet that is on the floor. I also have custom made mats from the same carpet. The kicker boards have press studs on them for easy removal and cleaning.

However, can't take credit for the great work. The kicker boards and carpets were done when I purchased the beast 3 years ago.

A Rear shot. Notice the stailess steel exhaust cover. Still need to get the rear bumper on.
