Mate nice job, and as far as boring anyone we all know the feeling when we first hit the road in our completed project. I'm only a week or two behind you, I'll keep an eye out for you as we quite often head up the coast.

bajachris88 - June 5th, 2005 at 02:49 PM

Is that classed as a shed or a barn? LOL. Sorry, sad joke, i know.

matt_c - June 5th, 2005 at 02:53 PM

vw insider joke...nice chris......and your right , very sad
it is an american style barn and i`m putting a mazanene floor in 2 bays soon.

MATE! looks stunning!

DIY-DUB - June 5th, 2005 at 11:04 PM

does that mean im welcom to make room in there if so i can make plenty of room, well actually it depends what you have in there, and what you would notice missing.;);)

matt_c - June 6th, 2005 at 06:10 AM

i did say "find" room!! didnt i, like the avatar by the way, who is it?

buzzbug - June 6th, 2005 at 09:43 AM

wow

nice shed

Tim Meier - June 6th, 2005 at 09:54 AM

Who did the body work? Your cars seems very straight. Must be a bug to bog those things.

matt_c - June 6th, 2005 at 06:05 PM

i bought it as it is "body and chrome" the rest was in bits....glass etc... it looks better than it is actually....if i was going to do it from scratch i wouldnt take so many shortcuts., i`m happy with it so far, took it to work for the first time today and it got plenty of attention so its all good.......blinkers stopped working though, i might have to find a mobile sparky.
and as for the shed, "sty" it was a payoff for a lot of unpaid work on the familly farm when we sold and built the new house.

pete wood - June 6th, 2005 at 06:39 PM

DIY-DUB - June 11th, 2005 at 08:22 PM

65busser - June 11th, 2005 at 09:34 PM

Love the Dcab. What a great colour. Do you have any before pics? The shed is magnificent.

matt_c - June 11th, 2005 at 09:43 PM

sorry no before pics...the guy i bought it off said he`d send them to me but as usual .......cant even find him now, the paint isnt as good a job as it looks but its still ok, the original colour was powder blue like a bad 70`s tux. and the shed needs a clean up, but i love it ...it looks a little out of place in a swanky area and lots of the neibours asked me why i need such a large shed........i reply`d, "if i had to explain it, you wouldn`t understand"

DIY-DUB - June 11th, 2005 at 11:45 PM

screw the nieghbours, love ya shed. actually are they hot? lol, yeh stuff em, get another shed just cause the objected, dopey uneducated non shed types
