Well this is the new daily.. Wanted one of these for quite a few years now..
It is a Cyber Green New Beetle, 2000 model. I love the green, and think that is might be the best colour in the New Beetle..
The former owner of this, Ross Woolley, has looked after this no end, earning him trophies for his eye for detail and cleanliness; so much so that it
makes others feel crook!! Remember folks.. this car is five years old. Now think of your daily or a different car that is 5 years old..
Look like this?
That's one nice bug ! Congratulations and welcome to the NB club !
Poor Ross, I know that he would have been very sad to see it go !nn[ Edited on 3-7-2005 by mscabrio ]
It has a few mods.. Eibach lowering springs, Powerchip, 17 inch rims, and full front to back stainless exhaust system including sports cats, giving it
a nice note.
This car has NEVER been polished. I has only been waxed, in all of it's five years, and therefore has no swirl marks or anything like that. It also
hasn't a dent..
Yeah, you could tell it would've hurt. He loves it, and it shows..
Now.. to try and keep it that way... nn[ Edited on 3-7-2005 by BenettonVW]
nice but there might be a problem
in last pic the split is green with envy just look at the eyes
Love it! BUT you should go and buy a Turbo you P****er
thats my favourite colour for the new ones.. your a lucky man..
Lookin' sharp son!
Jim
nice ride - i am one of the dubbers that has underlying pains for owning a new beetle.
How much grunt does the chip give it???
Only thing i like is the centre exhaust pipe over what you have.
Otherwise - NICE RIDE!!
Oh okay. Yeah centre exhaust is a good option.. might look into that.
Apparently the website, dunno what it is btw, says that it gives 10 - 11kW more power.. It goes well..
congrats on the new ride Jim!!
congrats jim
now its time to accessorise...

Nice one Jim, I'm sure it will provide many miles of comfortable transport for you! Don't load any greasy parts in there for the splitty though, that interior will get dirty pretty quick!
...nice ride Jim!!! Enjoy it :thumb
Wow you were fast with the number plates
I know it was hard for Ross to sell it so he must be please it's gone to someone in the veedubb community who will value it......He and Mercedes have
just got themselves a kombi camper, so some of the money will go to fixing it up...I'm sure Ross will have that looking good too when he's done
A set of 135's on the front Jim and you'll be on your way. Welcome to the dark side. Nice straight ride dude.
Looks nice, especially those 17", but, does the flower have to be there? It gets in the way to install a monster tach!
Congrats Jim,very nice.

Thanks all. Yeah we love it. Valla 2006 might just be happening for us now..
Couldn't do it in Nellie again... My bowel is
just starting to function again, and so is one of my kidneys.. The doc says the other one will return to use in the next year or two..

A replacement rear badge was need as this one was peeling the plastic and acrylic off it, however it wasn't going to be easy, as as you know, the
badge doubles as the boot latch. And I thought things like this would stop if I bought a newer one!!
I did some research, and then used these very details instructions, that I found fantastic. http://newbeetle.org/forums/showthread.php?t=116
The 'HOW TO..' will be put in the Watercooled section, but I thought I would give this thread an update. I did this lot today....
The famous before shot:
And the end result...
A few weeks ago I took some pics too.. The day before Baccuss Marsh.
