its63b - July 5th, 2005 at 10:53 PM

this was the first day she came home, how much a 17 year olds imagination and good mates who know wat theyre doing can change the way a car looks.cheers fellas

vwtyp2 - July 6th, 2005 at 11:14 AM

that looks so much better.

NigeType3 - July 6th, 2005 at 11:49 AM

Nice ride I love the new stance

mmmmmmmm low bug mmmmmmmmmmm

1500S - July 6th, 2005 at 01:24 PM

Looks nice but.........ahhhh the bearing manufacturers love the setup for lack of lubrication on those swing axles! Oil doesn't really run up hill all that well so run on a bouncy road every couple of days!

oval TOFU - July 6th, 2005 at 04:46 PM

I was thinking how it would get lubed too... Can you get sealed rear bearings or something?

Newbie - July 6th, 2005 at 05:34 PM

So how did u get it lowered?
Just adjusters on the frount beam, or more?
Looks awesome!

lohoon - July 6th, 2005 at 06:15 PM

looks cool.are they actual white walled tyres or "flappers"?

its63b - July 6th, 2005 at 06:49 PM

not too sure about the bearings but ill have to look into it,the front beam has 2 adjsuters welded in and the rear has jsut been wound down a few splines...and as for the whitewalls they are jsut the flaps from classic vee dub, give the car a whole new look lol

VDUBXTC - July 7th, 2005 at 10:49 PM

looks ok, but liked it better stock.

decked dubby - July 7th, 2005 at 11:51 PM

That looks unreal dude!!!;)

65busser - July 8th, 2005 at 08:38 AM

Looks great. How's it drive?
Btw, what colour is that?

its63b - July 8th, 2005 at 06:29 PM

shes a bit bumpy atm, need new rear shocks and should be sweet, also am replacing the stearing coupling tomorrow so it will also steer a bit better.the colour id beryl green..

type_one - July 8th, 2005 at 10:19 PM

Mate I'm guessing if you lowered it a few splines in the back she is now ridding on the bump stops. Must be a hard ride. Get yourself some coil overs for the back to give you some spring back before you crack the chassis or the body of the car.

The buy Looks so good man the white walls look killer. I want to get some for my van how much do they cost. Do you just glue them on to your existing tyres?

its63b - July 20th, 2005 at 08:44 PM

yeh they give the car a totally different look hey,i got mine form classic vw in sydney for $90 for the set of 4,theres actuallya flat bit that sits behind your rim, then u pump up the tyre and the tyre holds the wall behind the rim.but definantly money well spent
