Hi my name is Anthony
This is my project bus.
Just purchased a 1961 15 window deluxe Split bus from Lismore – picked this about a month ago – needs a complete resto – but most of the
part’s are there except the dashboard clock and other small items. This is my first attempt at a ground up restoration I think I picked a good
Vehicle to restore. Keep you updated on the progress – Might start a web page
Hopefully the photos can be seen

looks like a pretty damn fine start to me
Good luck with your find, great to see another bus getting the chance to live again, Im sure it will give you some great times and some
headache's but persevere and you will be glad you did!

:bounce
Thanks for you comments guy's - As you can see i have a hell of a lot of work for myself to do over the next few years but hopefully it will be saved from the scrap pile.
Ah - the smell of argon and hot metal!
A 15 is well worth the blood, sweat and tears! You'll enjoy it when you're through!
Ant ideas on colour scheme or haven't though that far ahead yet?

Hey Anton,
The Ol' 15 is looking good mate! I got hold of one beginning of this year but has quite a bit missing(side/quarter glass, interior,
bumpers/lights/engine/steering assembly) and RUST
Its a long term project for me so I guess I can look for all the ness parts. It will be semi-custom anyways so i was'nt too fussed about
getting a complete one.
Hope your's came with all the hard to get/expensive pieces though. Good luck with it and all the best.:bounce
One of the good thing's with this bus was that had and door's - bumpers - belt trim - jail bars and ID plate. Only missing a few parts.
Looking to paint it Red lower & black upper - still undecided
Original colours where Gulf Blue & pearl White - At the moment i think i will go for that "rust" look.

Have all the glass - even the corner glass.
I was looking at going for the "Cal Look"
- lowered and a set of brm's - and a 1916 engine. See what happens.

contact pmgbus for your rust repair sections before he gets rid of all his final lot.
Not an easy one.
But you will learn a lot along the way, and make new friends. My friend took 8 years to finish his. Good luck I hope it tuns out great.
