well after this one

i actuatlly had to do some work on the buggy... more than just cracking a beer and looking at it/hiding in the shed... i siphoned the water out of the
headlights (bastards are glassed in!!), drain indicators and tailight, enging oil and filter twice, trans oil, regrease front end, luube everything
that looked like it needed it, disnamtle, clean and reinstall dizzy and respray wd40 onto every tunnel, pan, ect opening...
i was happy thsat after i'd done all this it was still going... and using/leaking as much oil as ever.
anyway
i had today off work and a spare few hours over lunch, bought a electronic tyre guage from the shops 0-99pounds range. $10 and had to test it out on
with a fang and a few photos. 10 pound front exactly, 4 pound rear left exactly and 4.3 pound right rear exactly... haha, i love it... haha

Good too see some one else getting out there in work hours so too speak :thumb
beer doc...
i cant believe its still going after my poorarse mech attemps and my erratic and highly questionable driving techniques. i love it too. haha
KKK ek: you have responsibilities although your welcome to join in. trouble is, as you know, a quik couple hour run turns to a whole day at the
blinking of an eye... and if you come, who can i rely on to save me if it all goes pear shaped???
how is azza. home yet????
You're a lucky bloke to have that beach so close, I'm jealous.
what beach is that?? surf looks like its peelin very nicley hard
choice!!
buggy or board buggy or board buggy or board:bounce dilemas eh
update
on sat arvo found a nice concrete slab covered with gravel dust suitable for circle and slide work and so spent some quality time on it. Wild slides
and a dizzy spell ensued. slid off it into gravel dumps a few times.
went back out to the beach yesterday for a look see and some track fanging. did some more slide/circle practice on the slab (its on the way between a
friends place and the tracks).
i spose i should have stopped and checked out the funny noise from lh rear wheel which started after one particulaly viscious slide into a gravel
hump.
tracks were good, piloted a new link between two main tracks via an old overgrown and almost forgotten trail.
beach was nice and soft but 4lb saw to that.
on my way off beach theres a bang, grinding and lh rear wheel locks up... reverse-first-reverse-first to unlock it. It was pretty clear brake stuff
has let go in the drum. If I had a jack and the big axle nut dooka I could have gutted that drum and been right but I didn’t.
Oh well, had to get off the beach and back to gravel road to be saved, so limped the 5.5km grinding, banging ect.
Walked up a hill to get CDMA coverage and sent out for the cavalry.
As long as axle and drum are still serviceable, I should have everything else I need to get it mobile again just got to spend some quality shed time.
haha
Spose this means I got to add a jack, jack plate and axle nut dooka to spares kit.
but you were having fun weren't ya?
Where is that beach? Are you in NSW?
yes. buggy=fun - anywhere in oz's 16000km of beaches and 60000km coastline
thank you for being so specific...:cussing
Is this a secret beach?
BTW, I'm not coming round to steal ya buggy, I'll steal my own thanx :P
Its just north of Crescent head. Mitchell
