My 1973 Type 3 Fast Back
Pink_Lady - September 3rd, 2005 at 07:46 PM

Hi :) Thought i might introduce you all to my car 'Bethany'. She is yellow (kinda mustardy...), has a little rust but not too much (easy to fix), a 1800 kombi engine, and a custom dash thingy with a cd player, cb radio, flowers etc... :)

She's originally midlife crisis and swampwitches car... i borrowed her and made a joke she'd never return... and well guess, what she never did, I bought her.

I'm hoping to post a few pictures up soonish...

I am aiming to give her a make over... not quite sure what style i'm going for yet... thinking of a full 70's look...

she goes really well. :) a huge difference from the 1600, just cruises everywhere especially hills. She likes to speed however lol

Sorry can't help myself, that car is begging for a pair of webers, a chunky exhaust and some 17 inch BRMs:smilegrin:

Have to ask, what type of seats do you have in your type 3, as mine are a bit beyond repair and I would love to get some high back seat

Midlife crisis - December 19th, 2005 at 10:25 PM

The car has celica seats on the type 3 bases.

Midlife crisis - December 20th, 2005 at 09:37 AM

No I am not that good, A friends son made it for us ,the left hand side comes off for access behind.

The car is back at home with me ( Father) as it is having a bit of work done to it, Em hope's to have her baby back by April /May
