noice!
dude, that thing is awesome, not many great caravelles out there, but those rims and that junk in the trunk makes me drool
now there is a conversion you dont see every day how does it go mate
well done ..keep it in the family...hat comes off to you as this conversion has a lot more think tank work than the common subi conversion..looks very tidy hope you put the subi boys to shame???? keep the germans german!!! cheers steve
this is my other bus with subie turbo. It has been around for nearly 7 years now, long b4 most were using the rex turbo. it has been good to me but
the punch from the v6 straight off the line is more fun than the turbo. the v6 smokes em up at half throttle

as said ....... noice!!!
BTW
Where did ya get the twin head light grille!
I want one!!
That is a South African bus and thats what they have including big ass petrol tank and other bits
Mate that is one phat bus, geez these Caravelle's are becoming popular.
That is the way to go!!!! I always reckonded this would be a good option when the V6 first came out but prob more affordable now. It'd be nice in
the back of the Desert Splitty.
Cheers.
after seeing this bus in the flesh, and seeing and hearing what it goes like, I can tell you all it is awesome.
The engine looks like it belongs there.
Congratulations on a job well done.
Nice fit. Been thinking about that for my bay.

great looking bus:thumb good to see more caravelles coming out of the woodwork
after crawling up Mt. Victoria on the weekend in out T3, that's just dirty....what a ride! - awesome stuff...more info on the turbo conversion plz....time to upgrade, love my T3, just not the lack of HP....inspiring stuff.
i would say you would be better off installing a 2.5 non turbo . my turbo is extremely thirsty .Cost a bunch to run
hey crewcab...... try it in an air cooled auto :duh

Are the 2.4's much cheaper? (the audi's that is) Don't think VW used the 2.4's.
I am not sure? , I did get this engine fairly cheap ,i checked prices around and wrecker in Sydney offered me a short engine for $ 4,000 . I thought
that was a little steep.
the early v6 is certainly alot cheaper and more readily available
