I know, I'm in Boise ID and not down under, but I need all the VW action I can get--and I found you!!!
Here is my baby. Almost stock '69...well 1776 motor and some interior upgrades, blah, blah...
Inside looks sweet - wheres ID (Idaho?) we our geography consists of knowing where the nearest beach is?
Welcome
Yeah, Idaho. That would be Oregon coast for you...
Funny that I left Riverside, California (Newport beach)before getting seriously into VW's. What I'd give to have access to all the shops I used to
live a couple of miles away from.

There are a few very nice bugs here...and an active Van club, but for the most part--sad to say--it is a pretty tired fleet...
I actually have the rear seats upholstered and bagged in the attic, but I like the "paneled" setup for throwing stuff in the back.... I dont carry
too many passangers...

hey nice bug, very clean!!! Just a question about your front speakers. you obviously had to cut or drill holes to keep them there right on spacers or
similar? i own a cabrio and want to mount the speakers where yours are, but not cut or drill in the body at all? do i just glue the mounts and will
that hold?? any help would be great.
