Well here is the ratty baja.
Runs a 1200cc motor running on 3
cylinders, 1300 gearbox, 6 Volt
electrics with a 12 volt battery,
Split window beetle starter motor,
Rear mags, Wheel trims with hubcaps,
A piece of checker plates steel holding the
battery in and front brakes only, Not to mention,
more holes in it than the Titanic. Ratty paintwork with half a pinstripe sown the side, holes in the seats 6 different paint jobs since new, andhalf
the wiring missing. IS THIS A TRUE RAT OR NOT??
We owned the car for 13 years and for the first five it was road registed. It was yellow with the two oouter guards housing the headlights. Recently
we built a new baja and put all the old running gear(1600tp 1600 kombi box + more) on it and put an old box and motor in it to keep her running.
Note the roof caved in under my dads weight. The dent was repaired quickly.

The engine
another side shot
Side rear
interior
Side with mags but without front hubcaps and wheel trims and roof racks.
Well Australia, what do you reckon.
PLEASE BE HONEST!!!
Doesnt matter what we think, so long as you're having fun. I don't love it, but I may learn to in time.:thumb
hehe i like it! looks like fun:thumb
it's a bloody ripper.:blush
She's not my favourite bug i own but
i still look after her well. If we hadn't
of bought another fiberglass baja kit
to put on the other buggy she would of
broken in half. I was driving her along the beach
once and the car cut out. The battery had fallen through the floor.
We got her home and put a thick piece of steel on the floor to hold it in. By the way it is easy getting into without the keys as you can climb
through the floor. Below is the before when it was in her heydays

Also i will soon be rebuilding it and cutting out all the
rust just to get her on the road again.
Should i make it look like it did in the photos???
And the back of the little show car.
She was almost perfect when we rebuilt
her two years ago but the rust tore her
to pieces. Note the height at the back
