heres a pic of the bug,

for other people who dont know, mattie bought the car as a rolling shell that was for sale on here by dragbug,
since he has had it he has painted the sides red, put the chrome on the sidesand put a 1600 single port engine into the car

No,its a 64.
I saw this colour scheme on an oval back in england about 12 years ago.
Way before vwfool did his,
Either way, i have been back to see the car and i reckon its come up great.

It just shit's me that when someone does some thing to a way in which they want to,
Instead of coming on with "hey that looks cool"or something of the sort,
People have to race in with thats like so n so's car or Blah Blah did this so long ago.
Thats why i wrote about the one i saw "12" years ago.
Follwed by a good on ya to mattie.
Coz no matter who does what where,there will always be cars that are emulated.
This isnt solely directed at costa but more for the whole outlook of people.
Lets get behind the guys that build these cars,
Not tell em "been there ,seen that"

the black with the red looks :cool , good work to both the guys but have seen one before they were done too,i have the same with the colours on my bug as there is one similar to mine but who cares its all in the joys of ownership and individuality:party

Its originally painted in satin black about 10 years ago.
It used to be a mates ex drag car.
Sure is coming a long way since the day i brought her home.
