Can't wait to see this one finished. Looks like it's being built to take some abuse!
Love it LLLLLLLLs are cool
love the intercooler setup. How's it work exactly? louvred rear window plus an extra window inside ala ferrari F40?
You can just highlight and copy (CTRL-C - or click edit up the top, then copy) the file name in the IMG section (third box below each picture in
photobucket)....once you've done this you can just CTRL-V or click edit then paste to get the pics up here - let me know if that doesn't make sense.
Cheers
Alan
Awesome project by the way - absolutely love it!
Very nice.
Oooh.... this will be a damn nice (and speedy!) Bug when it's finished!
porsche fans look so sexy on beetle engines
The intercooler is sealed in an alloy box up to the rear window edge and the metal behinde the rear grill has been removed and the louvers into engine bay cut out and seald, there are two boxes where the back seat should be one to cover turbo and exhaust and is part of engine bay, that has an access panel to intercooler box,it keeps all the hot air out of the in coming cool air for the intercooler and intake for turbo. The turbo is fed by a remmele style side vent and the intercooler by same on the other side,The half moons have also been opened up into the box and there are vents inside the wheel arches.Intercooler has 2 12inch thermo fans sucking air in through the vents etc few I hope that answers ur question!!
I still like Pete's vision of it...but what the hell, looks fantastic - add some neons!...and I don't even like bugs, that looks the cats chat mate.
Pete who? what vision? 67 splitty is next been drivin it relativly stock for toooo long!
