Do you know who ownes it? Do you know where he got the body/kit from?
that is one trick looking kit, love the engine.
this runs motorbike injection i believe. connects straight up i was told.
also got told he imported the kit from overseas. cant remember which country.
Anthony
Injection doesn't quite fit straight on. BMW K100 throttle bodies are mated to the cast manifolds off the std Type 4 engine. Fuel rails are machined
to fit. Injectors are off an A class Mercedes.
Kit imported from Brazil.
Nice job Ken. Congrats on the awards at the DoVW. :beer
Thanks - That drag still on?
This car is absoluty beautiful! Well done Ken...
Yep you are on. How many horseys is the 914 putting out? You would have me on the power to weight for sure
Dean - I should be able to get 110 to 120 hp out of the engine - which is about the same as the 1955 quad cam 1500cc. Mine is 2 litre and will have
more torque. The quad cam revved to 8000rpm to get its power. Mine will be at around 5000rpm.
Car weighs about 600kg

I have seen that car before. Angela is a frequent poster on Spyderclub.com site. I still have that 2.0l 911s engine (with hole in piston) I was
considering putting in mine but it wouldn't fit. I would need to swap from swing axle to IRS so I could move the tranny back. I would also need to
remove the torsion bar housing.
Three litrs in a 650kg car would be fun though.
Ken
Nice car Ken, and congratulations on winning your class at the DOVW (Perth). Hope to see this car out and about a little more now
