Hey y'all
this is my girl.... Scarlet (yes after that Johansen girl)
I've had her for about a year...cheers to the Loftus' who live down the road in good old Berowra....they did pretty much all the work...the full
respray colour is a bit deeper than the photos suggest ....she is a 67... gotta rebuilt 1600 in her, suspension and exhaust upgrade.... she's been
re-wired, and a complete re-upholster as well....... she's pretty easy and comfy to drive.........just did over 3,500 kms down the south coast
through the snowies down to Melbourne and back... which was my breaking in trip for her
As for myself, I've owned a few Volksies, in between motorbikes (back to VW's for good after 2 nasty accidents)
a beautiful 2tone 59beetle called Leonard and a 69er called mojo who my ex girlfriend inherited and is stil dak-daking away down Melbourne way
don't need to do too much to her, just keeping her up to scratch, and maybe getting a few more HP outta her for 'de leetle dollars'... any
suggestions?
cheers
Af
