well i have finally taken some photos of the new splitty. sure is some work ahead but let the fun begin. don't know what the photo's will be like as i am playing around with Photo bucket trying to post them all in one thread

yeah blue one has a lot more rust but good rails under neath. also front damage to left side and all along cutters is rust.

Yeah I am thinking of making my double door panel into a 13 window.......well maybe not.

Best of luck wag67 - as others can attest to, what seems unrestorable to some may be quite restorable to others - hope some day we can see one, or both of these buses back on the road!! I can see there will be a lot of work though :o

or you can roll your own ... hey did you see that guy in the UK with his barnie rebuild on the chookshed or whatever the SSVC forum is. He is insane ... think the only think on his barnie that didn't need fixing was a couple of 13mm bolts.

they seem like both 58s or something. not barn door but still semaphore. you gonna have some fun there for sure. worth it for sure.
