Purchased in November for a song, my Rat ride is coming along quite well.

I think its slam time! Nice bug.

Slammin will happen. Getting some contacts together now. Will be scrapin'come next summer for cruzin.

not often u see an original basket weave interior in an early model
late 67s were the only early models with it

i looked at buying one
it even had a push button catch on the decklid like 68 on
dont know if that was original though

It was a bit dusty on arrival but cost less than $20 inc. freight.

Update....
Boris has roof rack on (thanks Paul).
Will post pics after Ol Skool/New Skool show on the weekend.
We're gonna throw the cat among the pidgeons with the pristine rodder crew at this show.
Will be interesting.

Quite well received, people who don't understand were very curious about roof rack.

Whitewalls are inserts, got them from Classic Vee Dub in NSW.
Bought a few things from them, visor, w/walls, venetian etc. Priced well too.
