Yeah, they're the little piggies of the VW world, huh!!
ctefeh - March 31st, 2006 at 11:55 AM
There was an absolutely immaculate one with ACT plates down my way tooling along the road. I don't believe he's an AVD member. Shocked me when I
realised what it was and how schmik-o it looked. This car didn't make it to the German car display as far as I can tell from my piccies.

here we go guys. as mentioned above, i have a friend whos into VWs & yeah, hes got a couple of CBs.... you know how it goes... haha:
:thumb :thumb :thumb
the mobile soon to be re licenced CB-
the orig CB. beyond hope?? unlikley. its being kept for future reference:
although not proper CBs, the following are used as country buggies. this is "the mule"- the farm workhorse. soob ea82, kombi rear, kombi 1600
transaxle, k&l front, wheelbase determined by what metal offcuts were around to make it. goes anywhere and pulls wheelies at the same time (if you
want):
the orig swamp buggy- having a freshen up (new rings and clean up head). this is modelled of early 80s baja winning single seater but has option of
super swamper clutch eating traction. 1835, irs real, k&l front ect
:]

helterskelter400 - April 2nd, 2006 at 08:28 PM
pics, pics, we need more pics... anybody peck off some photies of CBs over the weekend??....
edit.
forgot to add that i am led to believe that ther was only 2000 or somthing made for oz. if this is so, given the amount that you hear of around the
place, there seem alot still around (although alot could be basket cases due to cancer).

Desert Bug - May 17th, 2006 at 12:45 PM
Saw this one at Innaminka, remote north west NSW, in 2000 when we drove the Beetle accross the Simpson Desert (east to west).
It is owned by Peter Ware who does cruises up and down the Cooper Creek while it is in flood, he is otherwise known as "The Desert Postman"
opperating a postal delivery service out of Copley (outback SA) in a T3 Syncro.
Cheers, Ian.
