This is a young mate of mines car. He is still in high school and decided to lower the bug after school one day. He taught himself! I think he might
have dramas getting out of the driveway to get his licence in it!:P

Looks like the body is off the pan and sitting on bricks!!!
It's all for real. It's one from ragtops collection, t'was left in a paddock to die! As far as I know the beam is not narrowed.
Holy Crap!
That's a low rat! Is it even remotely safe?
Even if not, it sure is one cool ride!
Rat on dude!
Thanks Jo for doing that. Itll keep that 62 deluxe winger happy:P
Looks like the body is off the pan and sitting on bricks!!!
Well picked Ragged. Well i have to be honest, the young fella tried to trick me aswell, the pan has been removed.
But man he had the thing real low the day before he took the pan away.
He has done it all himself, the car was from my collection and runs real well.
He couldnt drive it very far with it as low as he had it but young boys are allowed to have fun.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ....
Um.... April fools????????
OK so it's closer to the first of may than april but we're a bit slower down here!!!!
I will take a pic of it during the day, it looks real cool parked out in the front yard next to the youngsters "54" oval and bay micro bus deluxe. Some boys get a good start.
would love to see it on the road as it is but its impossible to stay that low, mine sits that low its fun when non vw people come up to me and ask
whats wrong with the rear wheels, are they gonna fall off?
:P

very cool, has to driven boys, or its just a shame.
Here is another shot. What a lucky 15 year old boy,
hes got a 54 oval and a rat 60 bug. The rat 60 is the car
hes going to get his licence in he reckons. Love to see
the look on the examiners face when he pulls up!!!!!
Examiner:
Throws blue pen over shoulder and picks up red,
'Wont be needing that'
lucky boy looking good i was working throwing pumpkins and watermelons on the farm saving for my 64 falcon coupe they were the days just me and my hard produce
I've seen that oval somewhere...
Funny mate it does look familiar. I think they both lived at my place at one stage and one very original 54 lived somewhere near your place for some
time me thinks.
He has been driving the pan from under the 60 as a sand rail, and he got that tired old 36hp in the 54 running and driving aswell, i didnt even give
it a go it looked and felt that bad!!:thumb
