Oh yeah, good find.

PS: How does it drive? Is it OK or a bit hairy.......he he he:P
the engine and gearbox are perfect, not a crunch, not a miss... probably because of the rebuilt engine and gearbox in it.
i forgot to take a pic of the hotdog, but yes, i do need it! thanks to trevor for giving it to me and steve for getting it off trevor because trevor
didnt know where i lived.
Looks like pube could go the shave treatment. Or at least a trim in ride height. Sorry.

got the exhaust painted today, sprayed the entire thing (bar tip) in heat proof black paint, then baked in a powdercoating booth, looks awesome. yes, i apinted the muffler. i dont want to have to be polishing it all the time. not much on the bus is going to be shiny anyway. pics to come soon

...but i'll give it a go! :puke
Okay, got stuck into the interior today, and removed all of the styrofoam a previous owner had liquid nailed to the body... im going to hunt him down
and kill him. this will be replaced by a thick layer of waste cotton for insulation and sound deadening, and will be covered by two toned Marine
Carpet, and will feature a VW logo on the roof. if i have time, i'll also knock up the matchinbg door trims, also with VW logos.
I'm booked in at Offroad Systems for a complete interior and Custom bed and storage unit. I'm a little too long for the average kombi bed. this one
needs to be near around 190cm long, and will span the whole width of the car. this setup will be in for valla, so come and check it out.
show us some pics of your disco ball on the dash ,just so everyone can see it as well
hehe pics to come. patience! i get my camera phone back on wednesday, so pictures will come then
PS go to http://www.offroadsystems.com.au to check out the colours i'll be using. anthracite and grey

on thursday night we decided to get stuck into measuring up some bits of waste cotton for insulation. almost the entire car is going to have this
stuff stuck in there to provide insulation as well as sound deadening. for those of you who dont know, waste cotton is simply recycled cotton material
repacked to provide an awesome material that is most commonly used to dampen the interior of home entertainment speakers. it is a cheap and highly
effective insulation and sound deadening material, so much so that i could afford to purchase an entire roll of the stuff!
on my way to the factory, i get a call from my man BOOCH DAWG, also known as mitch. growing up as the only black guy in our entire school, he quickly
became very cool. he is so cool he drives a magna ralliart, complete with neons and subwoofers. booch dawg is really, really, cool.
anyways, booch dawg pops joins me in this episode of "send in the clowns" and also a guest appearance is made by SAWAYDA, also known as wayde.
here we are cutting up our huge roll of waste cotton
BOOCH DAWG is so cool. i think he thinks he is african american, but really he's adopted from sri lanka. oh yeah, BOOCH DAWG wasn't cutting cotton
at the time, he just doesnt like his picture taken. BOOCH DAWG is so cool...
We were about halfway through the task when SAWAYDA pops in fr a visit. Wayde is a bogan, he runs the seargents mess at holsworthy barracks. he is a
ute driving, wife beater wearing aussie, right down to the southern cross tattoo. so of course when he rocks up, all plans of work have well and truly
gone to hell...
BOOCH DAWG really didnt like me taking this picture...
in the end it took us 6 hours to much around with the football, kick me in the nads, hit wayde with a roll of carpet, order and eat three pizzas,
garlic bread and coke, run BOOCH DAWG'S car down the quarter mile, and measure and cut the waste cotton. a productive night over all.
fitting will begin tomorrow, but will not be completed as the bus is booked in at volkshaven for rust removal on the saturday morning, and i want to
leave the rear quarter available for them to get stuck in there. it will be completed on sunday. until then, enjoy a randomimage i found of me
headbanging...
next update, fridays insulation intallation and saturdays rust reapairs!
haha, randon cunt...
by the way, was that a cock and balls drawn into the polystyrine foam in that old roof lining? hahahaha
keep up the work dude
okay today i got stuck into the installation of the insulation!
once again BOOCH DAWG was there to help, but more ended up just eating my pizza, booch is so cool i didn't even care.
i masked up the areas with thick band masking tape, and throroughly cleaned each section before applying the spray on adehesive. if you have an air
compressor, i highly recommend you use the spray on adhesive, it is very forgiving which is quite fortunate for a useless tool like myself.
This was my brother Brendo, doing a trial mask up
then showing me how to point and shoot a spray gun...
first section complete
the floor...
the roof sprayed and covered...
the side panel... bodgy job?
the area around the air vents...
will try to make more happen tonight, but its getting cold and a little birdy is chirping to me on the phone...
Lookin good Fish!
Can't wait to see more pics!
ColumBUS is going to look hot for Valla at this rate!
