Well after 6 months of mostly sitting in Doc's driveway. Ruby, the pre-loved red squareback, has been declared fit and capable to mix it in the roads
with the other cars.. sometimes I wonder about Vic's roadworthy system, she now never has to see a mechanic again, until she dies quitly of rust or
damage. at some distant point in the future.
anyhoo, she's not qiute ready to make her debut yet, too much air underneath for the momrnt, stay tuned...........................

Nice...
-Staggers.
The Alchemist. I love it Rosko. Did you have some odd roadworthy dramas?
Love the plate.
looks good, when are you going to drop it? are you still going to fill the rear windows in? I am glad that you can now drive it around.
matt
A quick clean prior to trip to RTA
Looking proud next to KEN but screaming for the weeds
Well done Rosko
Top plate and a ripper of a beast.....good stuff!
loooking good mate got betty lou rwc today bit worried about the rego though the rw bloke didnt look at the indicators when i pulled out of the workshop with the rwc in my hand the indicators still didnt work did a u turn went and told him passed it with shitty 50/50 lenses so replaced them with 58 oval type units and harley indicators fingers crossed i will be driving legally by friday
Doc you just want it dumped so that it can't fit down that perilous driveway... that way you've seen the last of it.
Great plates rossko.

And to answer the queries:-
Plans include;
First and foremost, drop it down, hey it really couldn't sit any higher now; only way she can go........
upgrade suspension and brakes,
cover in windows, aka panel van,
more rat(sh1t) bling,
motor upgrade, (not suby, altho it would rhyme, with ruby!)
wheels, type yet to be determined.
and some ideas yet to be determined feasible.
or at least not too laughable....
As for roadworthy, no problems really, found the rusted main front to rear leaking brake line, early on.
Painted the masking tape over the rust holes in the left sill, with red oxide, can't see them now... later for proper repair.
Went back the second time, after working on the list of 6 things for the RWC, only one thing I didn't expect was the lower ball joints, and got the
magic piece of paper straight up. Took it to Vic Roads, and all they wanted to see were the magic numbers. Engine and Chassis, and check the
compliance plate. The dude thought someone was having a lend of him, when the computer came with vehicle type as "square"...........
If everything is right; a simple process, apart from the $$$$ part. ESpecially with the national data base, they conformed the details form the
previous S.A. rego. And I had a great receipt, (thanks Matt, :tu.
And now the project really begins, and like I tell all those who are non-car project people; who ask when will it be finished, probably about 30
years, or when my hair grows back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whichever comes first.
