Very cool indeed. What is residing under the decklid?
i wish it was something like youve got dasdubber but its only a stock original 105 000 mile 1500. i couldnt bring myself to part with it seeing as it will proberly be kicking on a lot longer than me. i must say i thought my resto was a labour of love, but you take the cake. its amazing.
thats awesome.
why indeed would you want that gem to go OS.. ?
we need to keep em in oz for eventually there will be none to admire.. just pics..
nice work btw.. will keep an eye out for when it becomes available.. :thumb
i agree h, ...... but when you put so much of everything into something and when it comes time for someone to buy it, you want to be rewarded for your
efforts. in oz we just dont have the population. and believe me if i can hang onto them i will. i dont think im alone.
cheers mark.

Cheers mark - mate you've done a cracker job there so regardless of the engine, its something to be well proud of!
I know what you mean about selling a car you've put a lot of time/effort/money etc on - I sold my old retro rally beetle to a guy who lives about an
hour away - I always get my mates telling me they have seen it around looking shabby and worse for wear. At the end of the day I have lost emotional
attachments with it, but when you hear that stuff, or see it...it can touch a bit of a nerve!
What is next on the cards then if you do sell this beauty?
yep thats hot:thumb
love it nice style.
i hear ya alan i once spent a lot of money on a beetle ( body off resto) getting to a stage of needing the wiring sorted, the guy had it for 12
months. he closed his business and took the car to his home to work on. i supplied him with a dust cover and told him it had to be garaged all the
time.there was always excuses for why it wasnt finished so i went to his house to find the beetle sitting in his back yard. he hadnt even looked after
it let alone start working on it. it messed with me that much knowing someone didnt have the same respect for it as i did, i sold it. thankfully i
know its going to turn out great.
next project, maybe finish my 65 lamretta scooter, same fun process..... a lot less funds!!
dude... i'm speechless. that's awsome
Bewdiful car man, gota love a good old notchy
How do you spell perfection! Absolutely special. One to admire for sure.
Wow!
Top work. Have you got pics of how it was before you got your mits on it?
it was white. sill sexy , looked like a Storm Trooper
Definitely a wicked-looking Notch.
It'll be a sad day for you if/when you sell it!
Sweet ride mate. Respect.
I saw this car last year as I was visiting melbourne on a shopping trip. I has just bought mine and was so crazy when I saw it. awesome looking car. A
