I'm not really one for loads of pictures and words around what I'm doing but here is Charlotte an ex show car that was looking a little old and sad.
Anyway I've got a 69 semi auto pan with lots of trick bits happening, modified 944 ass end and brakes. Shes getting an ej20T of the back and lots
of glass and carbon and bling bits. As long as its faster than a Westfield I'll be happy.

be a great german looker.... keep us posted.
good idea with the heater tubes is there enough room for the shifter or is it a celica cable shifter.what gearbox are you running.I thought I cut my
pan up yours has lost it top
anyway whats wrong with Harlot:P you want to hear what my wife calls mine.:thumb
Great stuff - will the water lines down the tunnel affect the handbrake? Or are you going with a hydraulic style push button brake? Can't wait to see it progress.
There is a fir bit of room in the tunnel once you throw the pedals in the bin I have a Tolton pedal box (roof mount) but I think I'm going for a Neil floor mount that a mate is selling.
The tunnel will house my coolant pipes, 3 fuel lines, 3 hydraulic lines, 20 core cable for eletrics, cable shifter from celica and the standard
handbreak at this stage even though its ugly.
I have some new bundy tube so I will just re-route it so it fits.
Malcom, I'm in two minds about the box. I have a 091 that I know can be made very strong + I can get one of those forged bellhousings from the UK so
I can run all Subaru gear including the starter.
This is the big draw card for me with these options but I'm at 915 price with these bits??? who knows any advice appreciated but I think the bug will
be luck to pull more than 220 so do I need a fith gear?
Anyway I'll try and keep the motivation up, I'm starting on the fuel system next week so I'll see what I can come up with.
Nice mate, :thumb go the 915 i say.
stephen find out if you can rotate a subie box upside down fit oil squirters to keep gears lubricated ,I also heard a subie front wheel drive gearbox
has enough room to rotate the diff .
early front wheel drive audi boxes might be shorter than porsche 915 and cheaper guys are using them in gt40,s .
Getting closer now, pan should be finished by year end with box etc.. I just need to clean this up and paint it
not long now until I can get the body back on the pan, just waiting on a few parts to arrive and it will be rolling.

Insane
Saw this on the back of a truck last week! Looking great!
Well i've manage to assist in making another baby (current count two), finishing most of my house renovations, i've chabged jobs and still managed
to collected some more interesting parts but very little has happened to the old girl as she has been in storage. Anyway she is now in the new garage
and i have split the body again as there is some rust in the heater channel to sort out. I'll give myself to 2010 to get her running as it will take
that long to save for the gearboxs parts lol
Although I now have a patented one man body split technique that is so dodgy I should write an article
looking good. how long til finished?
Love your work. Great idea re the tunnel, you have got me thinking. Its to late for my current project, maybe the next. Please keep us updated with
info and plenty of photos.
Well done, Kevin
"Although I now have a patented one man body split technique that is so dodgy I should write an article " its amazing the contraptions and gadgets you invent when you are working on your own...they are almost more interesting than the job you are doing...having done a suby transplant and house extension simultaneously...heheh
I could not make it to Valla so I messed around and put my dash in, I still have more to do but you get the idea
