Just got my hands on a digital camera, so I took a few snaps to show you all.
It's a 1960 model, pretty much stock. I bought it from a forum member about 5 months ago.

Lookin good Pat. :thumb
Yeah, but it looks the same as when I bought it.
I do plan to fix all the little bits and pieces, like the dent in the rear guard, or the wheel trim that came flying off.
The mods I want to do are, lower it a bit at the front, and maybe give it a coat of paint, and a new rooflining.
I did have plans to put a ragtop in it, but I have since come to my senses. The rag is going in my Baja, which is currently getting built, when
that's finished I will start on the bug.
By the way does anyone know the name of the colour?, I think it's called Alabaster?

You don't know how long I've been waiting for someone to get the Fast Show quote OOh Does she make this sound sir AAH?
Yes that is a headrest, I'm still looking for a matching one.
Skewy, I live in the sticks, but I'm always in the city, or Fitzroy-ish area.
It drives excellently, the best out of the few beetles I've driven, except for the power, cause it's a stock 36hp. Still 6volt, No radio
which is a bit of a bummer.
