well i bought the car from the Gold Coast in September after the owner told me it came with RWC and it was suppose to be in very good condition.I asked her if it had any rust and i was told by the owner that all rust work had been finished on it and there was no rust anywhere.Keep in mind that i just sold our 2000 model hyundai to by this car for $5500 and i payed $3900 for this bug.NEVER buy a car if ya can't personaly see it first hand.......a very hard lesson to learn in life especially when ya don't have an income to fix the misstakes ya make.Anyway long story short,we got the car about 2 weeks later waiting for the transport mob to pick it up and when it arrived the first thing that the driver said was........THIS IS ROADWORTHY? i asked why and well he said there was a huge amount of rust just under the front drivers side gaurd,rust all through the floor,all different tyres,the motor sounds like it's rooted and needs alot of excelleration to get it going,and the interior was well in need of repair so to speak.guess how great i was feeling when he told me that.Now since i've had the car it's got a new motor and new extractor exhust,new carpet and seats,changed the colour of the interior,and now it's waiting to get the rust cut out and repaired including a new floorpan.I've recently put chrome eyelids on her and hopeing to obtain a whale tail for that extra look.

this is my other ride. I know it's not a vee dub but hey she looks great don't she? I bought this from the Gold Coast aswell about 3yrs ago and it looked nothin like it does now.It was a puple color when i got it and didn't have the rear wing or the customised front spoiler. Now she sits beside the house waiting to be finished as it needs a new floor pan and the electrics fixed.This was goin to be me show car....was beeing the operative word.Once i get the bug finished then i'll be able to finish what i started
