Paint at last

After 3 years of fixing things, finally the paint is happening. Body is done except for the topcoat and the guards and other stuff should be finished
next week. Pan is almost done to so will be able to sit them together again in the not too distant future.

Only problem is you in Sydney and me in Brisvegas
I will post more pics as the job goes on. Will be doing the wiring soon which is the most challenging part for me.
And, Pete, it is VERY RED as that is what the wife wanted. Should go well with the black roof though.

You know a really nice tan coloured roof would look awesome with the red paint.

We have a tan interior to go with the red but thought black would be better by not showing the dirt as much as it gets older. Also going to put
lambswool seatcovers on both the front and back seats.

Hi Barls,
Got the parts from the box on the weekend. Just what the doctor ordered. Not sure of the name of the colour but it is a VW colour from PPG.
11CAB, the ghia rolls but never tried to start it. Rust everywhere so would be too dangerous. It is waiting its turn for the same treatment. Have
managed to find a complete NOS front end and rear quarters fro him as well. New door skins, pans etc so nearly all the parts are there, just need the
money to put it all together again.
