tasty. while i'm a aircooled person, MK1's are lurvly....

btw if you haven't got a kamai golf ball gearknob, get one, the look cool (i think) and are nice to drive with.

i second the notion of a golf ball gear knob. I had one on my 77 golf as well as a chin spoiler. The chin spoiler disapeared because i had it too low and the golf ball gear knob is hiding from me. Gotta love good old mk1's. What lump you running in it?

They make a huge difference in the feel of the gearbox!

Baz ur right it is the wifes but since i cleaned it for her it mine for now.

Im not a fan of the twin headlight kit as it reminds me too much of the Mk2 Golf. I like the retro single light look like all the euro's had.

As for Engine its a 1.8 GTI engine still on carbs.

I bought it from a guy in Melb that works for VW i wonder if anyone recognises it
