sweeeeet. looking forward to seeing more.
The Oval....Oskar arrved this morning.
History goes something like: Last rego'd in 1983, driven into paddock for 15 years, garaged for 7 yrs or so and then found it's way to me.
Pan and channels are quite rusty so will be a long term project, but it runs and drives, however with no brakes. Interior has held up pretty well
considering too.
Plans are to have on the road in 1-2 yrs with a very different theme to Boris.
Here's some pics.
LOVE IT !dump it, lets roll !

Excellent! Looking good - and nice gathering of parts...
I would love the steering wheel and shifter for my ol girl (ads to the shopping list)!
can i ask where the light grilles were picked up from and how much they were?
I'm clearing that space in the workshop for you now Darren.
You can park it between the other 3 ovals in there!
Great score !!!
Love the wheel choice.
Matt

Hell Dude thats some towbar! Nice collection of pieces to put her straight!
Ok.....backflip time!
The oval has found a new home, I have to admit to being a bit frightened as to potential cost blowouts to get her how I wanted it.
Boris is to now receive the full treatment as it just makes sense. He is just ssssoooo solid and has so much sentimental value ( I even contemplated
selling the Ratter ).
So watch this space over the next 12 months or so as the transformation takes place from Boris the Rat to Boris the Cal.
I may be nuts but am happy with the decision.
good call man! looking forward to watching the resto!
nick
There's still the one I was talking about Darren when the time is right.. Shhhh, dont tell anyone.
