Hi nice work and welcome from Australia. Have a '67 splitty myself.
Looks similar. Very hard to tell as it was a 'blink and you miss' affair. The pics are a bit blurry but I think it is the same beetle.
You may recognise the workshop??? It was the only VW I saw over there hence my excitement.
