looking good
my son had it resprayed in two pac by a panelbeater in Kawana. pretty bloody good job too, and not to expensive compared to the other quotes he was getting. fish:bounce
Hey fish
i got my bug sprayed in kawana about three years ago at a place called kawana auto refinishers and they did an excellent job. after they had painted
it the told me that if they new the amount of work that it would have taken to do the bug before the qoute then they would have charged me alot
more.
though it would have been well worth it.
this guy was really keen. He has done a few Kombis and yeah his work is pretty good. jared has been working on the bus all week after work and all weekend putting it back together. lookin better every day. We put the motor in on Sat night but weve got to get the auto electrician to have a look as there are wires everywhere, and it's been a year since we took it apart so have forgotten where most of it goes. oh well keeps someone else in a job eh. cheers, fish
havent quite worked out how to get multiple pics on the one page, or how to make them bigger.
good choice of colour, might see u on the road soon.i'm from bribie island I've got a 75 2L white top light blue bot bay.i'll look out for u :beer
Looks good fish!! :thumb Was there much panel work involved before you got it painted?
The panels were all fairly straight when Jared picked it up but he stripped it back to bare metal and had a friend straighten the drivers side panels then dropped them down to the panelbeater and he straightened them again after he put a couple of coats on. looks good. just sitting here now as jared has gone overseas for a while. the new motor is just sitting, doing nothing as he didn't have time to run it in or get the bus registered. :bounce
Lovely blue fish. I like seeing busses redone. The finished work will be magnificient to say the least. I could imagine what the grin would look like
that day it registered and rolling down the black matt.
Keep us posted - I wanna see the end result.
Photoshop will reduce image kb's and increase dimension with ease. There is also downloadable software available too.
geez nice bus,
what colour was it before the spray?
im looking at getting my bus sprayed inside and out, not sure where to start,
how much did this cost if you dont mind spilling the beans???????????
