We uaually go out for a trip 2 times a month.
But less if in rainny season (June to October) and more in winter (November to Febuary)
Our winter is like your summer. Temperature will be arround 20 - 30 c.
The coldest day in Bkk is 15c.
some nice looking machines there napat
Sure :-)
This 1962 ragtop comes with sprinter kit. It's also said vintage speed kit.
Too bad most vw here need to install air con.
So, our engine compartment is not so nice looking.
Great get together, the scene is alive and well in Thailand.
Show us some interior shots of the aircon, the installs look tidy and makes sense in a humid climate.
This is my bug's interior. :-)
The aircon dash is og part from VW. Just fit under bug's dash.
Good point of air con... It will help you to clear front wind shield when you drive in the rain.
more pics of the 62 with the vintage speed kit, i would like some closer pics of the carby set ups if these are period for 1962,
thanks Paul
Sorry Paul, I dont have it now. will meet the owner next week.
:-)
Can you do some pics of the pulley set up for the air cond
Well the air cond in general??
may be email them to me??
Fantastic stuff...
You've got everyone going on the a/c setups in the cars, I'm one of them, especially as I live in the tropics. Just as well I put a Serpentine belt
setup on my 58 thinking of this for the future
Wow! your bug looks mean :-)
Can you still source the aircon vents ?
where did you get the auxilary guages ? They look factory including the vented surrounds.
The aircon install is nice and tidy, I would be happy to have it in my bug !
I love the steering wheel, Id have one of those too !
Yes I can source the og a/c dash but cant ship outside Thailand... It's too big.
for the gauge grill... I made it myself. Then fit with 3 gauges ; fuel, oil pressure and oil temp.
:-)
