66 PMG Ute

Just got back this morning after picking up the new company vehicle. Flew over to Hobart Sunday morning and drove it 200k to Launceston. Didn't miss a beat. Yesterday drove 100k to Devonport to put it on the big boat back to beautifully warm Melburg. Tassi was pretty bloody cold, especially with the high roof air vent stuck in the open position.
Sorry we didn't catch up Andy. Thought we had a clutch issue as we left Launceston and decided to forge on in case.
Met up with Peter Murfet in Ulverstone who has to be one of best. Turns out he put the Indian beam in the front of the ol PMGer. Drives and points a treat.
Also gotta thank the guy from the Vic Roads/RTA equivalent in Hobart who dropped the permit to drive the ol dear in the letterbox of the seller cos it wouldn't have made it in the post. Try and get that sort of service out of Vic Roads!!

Thanks Gents. Great to have a new project. Exciting stuff. In answer to your question Rhett...I'm thinking of returning her to her original PMG glory but matt PMG red, stocky matt black wheels, grey caps. Get Nathan's Dad to do the logos, some Rob King spindles and off we go.
