After leaving my van behind in the UK for 2 years, it's finally arrived here.
Have to do a few things to get through a roadworthy, raise the suspension slightly, fit wipers, that sort of thing. At least she has other vw company
rather than stuck in storage in the grey and miserable english weather on her own.
memories of drag racing at Santa pod. Deano had a 1/2 second jump on me, (I could say I was bracket racing, but I was still recovering from the bad
peanut I ate in the party tent the night before) She did me proud, 1/2 second behind a 2017cc and she pulled past him with 20 metres to spare

That is just simply awesome!! Love to see it down the strip here! So whats the history on it?
Cheers Will.
The old girl has had an interesting life. She was bought by Terminix pest and termite control as a fleet van, hence the number, At the end of her life
she was placed in a cradle above the shop in Yuba city, California and used as an advertisement, for how long I don't know. A friend of mine bought
her in Florida and I bought it from him. During that time she has had a 2.2ltr transplant, coupled to a KCW prostreet box, with type 3 straight axle,
dropped spindles and adjustable beam.
The journey list is quite huge, she went from Germany to California, from Cali to Florida, Florida to the UK, Uk to here.
50 1/2 years old and still going strong.
