This is my sister's bug. It's an upcoming project and it's gonna be a big one as almost the entire pan is rusted and about to give way.:o It's a 74 superbug that we're gonna lower, fatten the guards, add some fibreglass and maybe cut the top off and make it a convertible. At the moment it's in very bad repair with rust almost everywhere there can be rust because when we bought it it had been sitting in a paddock on a guy's farm in northern NSW for a few years in long grass and flat tires. I think the engine died and they pulled it out and fiddled and left it there. The engine at the moment is a 1200 SP and is sitting in the passenger's seat in many, many peices. The more I look at it the more I realise that helping my Dad fix this up is going to take a lot of work, and welding.
This is the before mentioned engine sitting where the passenger's seat should be....not good.:puke

A nice shot of the two projects, the bushbasher, and the old bushbasher.

I have just looked at your sisters and brothers bugs.
Umm.... there ia a sh!t load of work there!
Most people take on ONE project.
WOW you guys have got your work cut out!
At least you are one big VW family!
but is that a Sigma i spy in front of your brothers bug?
Yes it is a Sigma stationwagon you spy there. My uncle got it off a his brother or something for a farm basher, and we've jacked it up. My uncle preceded to christen it by kicking out the back side window and my Dad pissed on the engine...ugh! Anyway if you couln't tell my family and friends are the Aussie version of rednecks!
