nice score !
cuse my ignorance but 59? what year?
That will have some grunt with the T4 in her!
It's a 1961....
Yep the type 4 should push it along fine...
Also putting a type 4 into my Beetle (2366cc) that in a post labeled "just in case you where interested"
Just needs a few rust repairs and to fit a donkey and im off! Im starting of with a rebuilt type 1 1641cc that me and a freind are building , ill run
that in and get it legal then in goes the type 4 and down with the ride height.
An update at last...
I have welded it alot since my last update, all the sides are done and floor sections, and I have just fitted the front sections last weekend.
I have also lowered it and fitted a Beetle box to do so, so I now fell as thou I am getting there.

it's been awhile.... and here is the update.
Have put the motor in and are sorting out the issues that come with this sort of project (T4 into T2), have got the brakes now working, and the clutch
sorted also, small parts drama on that one, mainly was because a local VW parts guy here CAN"T READ A F**KEN RULER!!!!!

Cool driver - looks and sounds like it will be fun with the type IV.
"Life's simple when you're single" so they say
You dont ride push bikes by any chance do you sifter???
farkin??
Good score!
Keen eye aye.
I used to ride alot, and also worked in a bike shop, now I just use one for transport.
I have a Klein Attitude, the ones before they went stupid (Bought by Trek), and where still real hand made and cool.
I have made it single speed (Flat city that I live in) and because I have always wanted some, I have a pair of Pace RC36 EvoII fork waiting to be put
on it.
Dasdubber, I can't wait to drive it, all I need is time and good weather! as my garage is to short and the door has to be open to work on the motor
with the door closed!
hah! didn't even notice the pushy in the background, too busy perving on the pick up.
The reason I asked was cause there was a guy on Farkin.net who was called Sifter.. he was a real prick too :P jk
was that you?
if you look closely I am the number 1 s1fter.
I seem to have a few impersonators!
ahh well.. good luck with the pick up, and have fun on the Attitude, It'll be pimpin with some RC36's
more exact meaning to "pimp my ride"
Update.
I now have the engine running, which was a small effort due to the injectors being gummed up with crap, but a few taps with the spanner and the sprang
back into life.
I now have fitted an exhaust as the neighbours where getting a bit pissed off.
I am now going throw though the motions of getting it drivable, as I want to drive it around the block to reward me for all he hours I have been
laying under it!
i would of been driving it today but lots of small problems have stopped me, as there was an leak from the axle seal, which was a huge pain, and I am
having trouble sorting out the shift lever.
I did technically drive it today, as I had to park it in the garage, and I have a slight up hill drive way, but it did involve lying under the front
putting it into gear and then starting it to drive off!
