Ah,

So that's where it went! She's a lovely old girl and I'm sure you will look after her Stuart. Like all these things she needs a lot of work and love.

I'd known about this bus for a little while and would have liked to buy it. Very sad I didn't get it.

Didn't have enough of the ready but did tell the seller (who would describe himself as a 'mate' of mine) I would sell my 23 in order to buy it.......but promises are not cash of course.....

Anyway, lessons for the day for RobK

(1) I have too much money tied up in one bus...

In a way the 23 gives freedom (when driving it) and in another way it restricts what I would like to do. As part of this process I was about 90% done towards selling it for a fair price - I think the time has come to sell it anyway.

(2) Universal karma points don't stack up against real money (bit like frequent flyer points really)

(3) Think I'm going to try and find the best twin cab I can and go at it absolutely hammer and tongs so that I have a split to drive while restoring barney.....:)
