jo_tas - December 11th, 2007 at 05:33 PM

62deluxe - December 11th, 2007 at 06:56 PM

Class matey! NOW SLAM IT!!!!!

jo_tas - December 11th, 2007 at 06:59 PM

Haha.. unfortunately unlike Type 3's, these cost money to lower!!

dvs_vw - December 13th, 2007 at 01:23 PM

some big, old skool dished Jap rims, stretched tyres, slammed, old skool VIP style.....would be awesome!

Ignore Bond, he doesn't seem to know anything about cars unless they have a VW badge, he's very un-edumacated on anything else!

jo_tas - December 13th, 2007 at 01:34 PM

Thanks dvs_vw.. i think what i really wanna do is slam it and put a set of chrome smoothies on it.. with a nice big sound system :smirk:

68AutoBug - December 13th, 2007 at 03:54 PM

I see the AMI badge in front of the doors...

I'm not sure whether these cars were made in Australia by AMI
or fully imported by AMI...
from Japan,,
what does the vehicle identification plate say?

Very nice find though..

Lee

jo_tas - December 14th, 2007 at 08:11 AM

They were put together here using mostly japanese parts, but with alot of australian content too, i.e holden diff and bw35 transmission.. I've been studying!

pete wood - December 17th, 2007 at 12:56 PM

get rid of that nasty 2M motor and slip in a 2J. ;)

jo_tas - December 18th, 2007 at 09:17 AM

It doesn't actually have a 2M motor.. just the valve cover from one.. It actually has the later model 4M..
Although a 2J would be nice.. or a lexus V8..

VWCOOL - December 18th, 2007 at 09:43 AM

oooh yeah that's COOL. Saw one in the 'Gong the other day that was lowered with some big rims but I kinda like 'em stocko these days

Rural Baja - December 19th, 2007 at 09:56 PM

haha ditch that old 4m engine and fit the Lexus V8 into her! Thats the ebst bet. Oh an Jo that book i had for one was a instruction manuel. Could of scored a whole car for you but it ended up being crushed 12months back. It was immac too, siting in a wreckers with so many other old cars, must of been a 1owner.
