It is funny you know, I was sitting in my shed the other day looking at the Mega Manx working out what the next step would be and I thought " Man
I am going to have to cut some corners to make sure this baby is ready in time " This idea did not sit real well with me as I have been building
it for 3 years. After a few more moment of contemplation I decided a reserve plane was needed. So I found me a back up buggy
She is a 66 based Meyers Manx with IRS / King pin Disc brakes, 2" lift kit, mag wheels and a few other bits. She needs more power though so I
reckon it will be moving a lot faster before Fraser. That is of course if the Mega Manx don't come togeather in time.
Did you bury one in you're back yard, and now they're flowering?????
I've never seen anyone find so many Manxes..
Funnily enough I have just found another If I ever find one that I am
going to give away then I will let you know....
Sweet!!
Nice one Brad, looks a bit TOO clean though!
I think this is his way so saying the megas manx not gunna be ready, so instead of putting up with all the mocking of not driving a buggy, he just
bought another one hehehe
not that i can talk, ill be racing to get mine done

I noticed there wern't to many Qld boys at the Dunes last weekend? What goin on gents - NSW beaches too harsh for your buggies eh!
After some serious arm twisting I went to Straddie with Dazza. Why wasn't I at the Stockton run ? Well I am soft
I had 600km on my new engine and I wasn't about to drive 950 km to stocko then the nationals - then home again until I have had it on a Dyno to
see how the top end is for fuel mixture. I will put it on when I hit 1500 km then after that I have no more excusses not to come out and play.
The suspension worked fine, much better after I tightened up the shockies
So where's Mega Manx?
love the buggy man looks sooo sweeeet just a quick question round about how much is one around that condition worth ( there such a kool car )
hehe can't say my wife is looking
I would say around $10 000, wouldn't take that for mine but there is a lot more than teh eye can see.
Brand New engine, alloy case, stroker crank, new heads, stinless valves, 44 idf carbs, few other secrets.

Yeh its such along drive from the central coast to Stockton :P
Now I have my ricefactor pod filters I am more than happy to come out and play. I m off to Tonga for 2/1/2 months but hope to have a stocko run
towards the end of the year. Dates to be published after the AGM on 31st May 03.
As for real dunes.... I grew up not far from Stocko, ( North Arm Cove area ) and spent many many weekends surfing and destroying buggies and
4wd's on there. It is a hoot and I hope to be back there again soon.
I am counting on all you NSW guys in your street buggies to be there and show is toads how to play on the dunes though as it has been quite a while
since I got of our great sunny beaches and played on your wet , misserable and windy dunes. I will be packing my rooof for that trip :P
Hehehe......nothing like a bit of interstate rivalry.......
