Car is Red Citrus in colour.Rebuilt 1600 thru Mullers.Shod with new Yokohamas & Kumhos,extractors,inlet manifolds,exhausts,headlining,carpets and sports steering wheel.Escort RS2000 2nd hand bucket seats

Funny thing driving a bug again - keep looking for the temp gauge. Maybe i get an altometer so i can see how low i`m flying.

Now has new carpet and a one piece ali backing plate from hinge to hinge. Certainly a clean look compared with what it looked like before.

we use to do this sort of thing but they frown on it now. nice bug didnt get much chance to catch up with many people at the nats though

Sadly Thug is up for sale. Reason being that my recently aquired Teardrop `van is a heavy unit to tow having the original wood chassis and rails. See "For Sales".

Spare wheel compartment now completely cleaned and repainted throughout. Full width 1/4" thick linished aluminium backing panel fitted across from hinge to hinge. New carpet fitted. Tool kit/jack stored in carpet bag. Elastised luggage grip fitted also. (saves stuff falling about). Ornamentation on fitted back panel stays with sale of vehicle. ie : german brass eagle. german period number plate. german helmet (fibreglass) with wolfsberg badge.
