howdy all i aquired this of ebay it was in the wilds of merulan near golburn a tale in itself.
needed 2 rust areas fixing the front under bar usual and the drivers side sill
both pieces were new and both cost $155.00 for the 2, not bad i did the welding myself i was carful westy ,the rest is as fiund and all services were
recorded the only things i had to do were the cv needed grease
so here are a few snaps
now with all new rego only needed an earth wire fixed and the headlight relay sorted
So you can take a picture of this but you cant take a photo of a few heads?
Just kidding, looks good. What you got planned for it?
Simon

true it will only make me fat i'll stick to water only
That's a great find. I think food is over-rated. Spend the $$ on the SC instead.

a few more happy snaps
and it's been lowered 6 inches at the back and 4 at the front may go down a bit more yet but i gotta say it rides really nice at this hight
the wheels are of a toyota and were a straight fit using mag nuts went to canberra cruised at 100-110 all the way and no vibrations and i had the
whole lot allined and camber set no worries so don't tell me about the wheels i know and been using them for 10 years
I must say the 1800 motor is a great thing pulls like a tractor and with the 1800 box cruises all day at 110
love it not bad on fuel i used $60.00 on fuel to camberra and back plus all the cruising around canberra
is the front lowered with an adjustable beam? how far off the bump rubbers are you? Its a wonder I didn't see you in Canberra I was there last week in my red kombi...not many pre 2000 cars there
great stuff steve well done.
And thanks for your help with my low light Cheers Brendon
i seen your red devel i was 30 feet away from you as to lowering the front is down 4 inches no ajustable just removed 3 bars from the top rail they were broken anyway and i removed the bump stops this is my second lowlite and the last one went for years no worries it really does ride nice on standard shocks
Geez why didn't i think of that? Ya wanna lower ya car ya just take half the springs out Good one I'll give it a go
its been done for years before some smart alic started to use a ajustable beam
now keep this to your self the buggers removed some torson bars and then used camber ajusters that you can still buy who da thought
nice s/c , didn't have the golf i sold you for long . As long as its on the road and not in my yard. Also scored myself a sc just a little older than yours.
Looks great Klaus!!
Uber cool ...
Klaus, how many cars do you need

One word......... DODGY
I bought a set of bay gates and treasure chest door from wreckers for cheap and wanted them off the grass so i bought a sc to store them on , seems like perfect logic.
