ok so i sussed out underneath and its been cut though the chassis rails "wow" what a great job! with nice shaped strengthing plates etc ,near the middle of the sliding door and in the door pillar and i guess at the top of the windscreen where over time the rust has started "apears to have been rust converted and fish oiled in places , i hacked out the rust on the worst pillar and its just the outer skin so im feeling better .

i bled the brakes all round last night and its great now i can stop ,so moving on for a big clean underneath is covered in Adelaide dust n mud and pull the interior out clean up ready for some welding..
