This was only going to take 3 months to finish and be ready as a present for my wife for our 2nd anniversary, we just celebrated our 5th so I thought I better get it done for her Birthday in December instead!

Below are the before and after pics, if anyone is interested I have loads of progress pics...

Here is how it arrived, this was my first ever resto and ended up costing about $1000 in parts and professional help...

This was my first attempt at hammer and dolly work, the metal was pretty soft so I was able to bang it into something like the original shape.

A bit of filler and primer, it almost looks straight!

I started adding the trim and motor then realised that I had to buff the paint first... bugger.

And this is it pretty much done, it was nice to be able to build it at work when we were quiet.
