Introducing "Manuel" 1969 1500 Beetle
BillK - December 30th, 2008 at 09:39 PM
Just before Christmas I picked this little beauty up here in the ACT -From the almost complete lack of rust, and looking at the papers, this car has
lived in Canberra all its life.
Some minor work required prior to being registered - but hopefully soon. Nothing major planned -I intend keeping this car as close to original as I
can.

Lovely 1500, the light interior looks great, a nice change from the standard black and brown that is usually the norm.

Well he is going to share a garage with Bugluv's "Basil"...
Both names derived from 'Fawlty Towers"....
Could have been Sybil or Polly I suppose - but Manuel it is!

did you get yr battery clamp yet make sure you get the proper battery for it
otherwise you may have a fire if some one sits on the back seat

Just scored one today! But the list of items needed seems limitless so I am coming to Syd next week for some specialised shopping therapy!
